Can a survey done last (week, month year) be used as the resale survey?
No, it cannot. Unfortunately, HB 3031 requires a number of things in a survey (listed below). However, the issue that prevents a recent survey from being used is: “To be acceptable to the Authority and Purchaser, the survey must: include the boundary of the Leaseholder’s Leased Tract and any Undeveloped Strips being conveyed, which boundaries must be consistent with the master survey prepared on behalf of the Authority in conjunction with the sale of the Leased Tract to the Purchaser;” PPKLP expects Link Field Services(LFS) to offer a quality product for a reasonable cost. However, if you are not satisfied with the price listed by LFS you are more than welcome to utilize another surveyor. (Just remember this could lead to delays in timing.)
