Can a supervisor, manager, or administrator give feedback in order to tune e-FAQ so that it responds correctly?
Yes. e-FAQ can “learn” from feedback that it is given. e-FAQ understands two types of feedback — 1) feedback to scale entry confidence (i.e. the likelihood of an entry being returned), and 2) feedback to associate or disassociate alternate wordings of queries with an entry. The second type of feedback is particularly useful in providing an easy way to reduce the number of “false positive” entries that are returned (that is, entries which really do not answer a query)..
