Can a student who is not enrolled on my course have access to my WebCT Vista section?

Yes. However depending on the student’s attendence of the course there are two ways this can be achieved. • If the student is formally attending the course on a non-assessed basis, they should be registered in WISARD and recorded as “Class-only”. These students are included in our nightly download and so will receive access to WebCT vista in the normal way. Instructions for doing this are as follows: In the WISARD course enrolment function (‘Enrol New Courses’), locate the course to be enrolled against the student. When it is returned to screen, the ‘default’ Study Mode is displayed (usually CE or CA – column next to the ‘ticked’ box on left hand side). Before enrolling the student on the course, you can amend this to C (using down arrow to select) and then save. If you wish to amend having enrolled the student, you can do so via ‘Edit Existing Courses’ function.
