Can a student take an AR test if a book has been read to them by a teacher or parent? Is a student required to read a book independently in order to take an AR quiz?

For Kindergarten students, you or your teacher may read the AR books to help them earn Accelerated through Super Star levels. Keep in mind that they may have to be able to read and answer the quiz on their own (some teachers may read the quizzes to the student). The last three levels must come from independent reading.
