Yes. But the total credits for WSU General Education courses must total 55-56 hours. The student who takes two or more three-hour courses to replace WSU GE courses must take enough total GE courses to meet the 55-56 hours minimum. Extra courses taken to meet an hour requirement may include any WSU GE course, any WSU-approved transfer course, or any course included in an institutions Ohio Transfer Module. Also note that the “writing-intensive” designation is not transferable. Any writing-intensive courses for which students substitute a transfer course will need to be made up with another WI course.
