Can a student receive credit for participating in Orchestra or a Choir?

0

Yes, for 2 semesters of participation in The Orchestra or the Chamber Singers, one credit is given. A student can only do this once, and your must announce your intention at the beginning of the first semester for which you are seeking credit. This option is not available to music majors and joint majors, though, for majors, 3 semesters of participation in a departmetally-approved ensemble is required. It is a graduation requirement, but academic credit is not given.
