Can a student participate in music, several sports, school plays, and other school activities and still complete IB?
Many exceptional students find themselves increasingly pulled in multiple directions as they progress through the high school. Some seem able to “do it all.” Still, the IB program requires an intensive time commitment to fulfill the study requirements and the additional requirements of CAS and the extended essay. Students and parents need to prioritize which of the high school’s offerings are most important to them so that students are challenged but not overwhelmed by their commitments.
