Can a student participate in commencement but not be eligible to graduate?

A. The College allows students to “walk” or participate in commencement if the student is within six hours of graduation and has a cumulative and major 2.00 grade point average. Students that participate are not graduates and will have to apply to graduate by completing a graduation application when they complete their remaining requirements.
