Can a student have a job while at NBI?

0

While it’s not impossible, this would be a very difficult thing to do. Although it is ultimately up to each individual student, it would be tough to schedule a job into school life and the student would end up missing some of the fun parts of campus life. Resident (dorm) students are expected to participate in the Student Work program, which is like working 6 hours each week in a part-time job on campus. The Student Work program helps keep room & board fees low. A student can opt out of the program by paying an additional fee equal to Saskatchewan minimum wage multiplied by the number of hours he or she would have been required to work.
