Can a student defer admission?
Yes, students can defer admission within the academic year. An academic year consists of autumn-winter-spring-summer quarters. Students who wish to defer beyond an academic year must submit a new application to the university and pay another application fee. Admission into the program itself is secured. However, students who have been awarded financial aid and defer admission cannot be guaranteed funding when they begin taking classes.
