Can a student claim Income Support?

Hey no employment and support allowance is the new income support and incapicity! Reason for esa is so people have extra help getting back to work as the people who claimed when it was income and incapicity became to comfortable on them benefits!

ESA is the new name for Income support and I would think that if she’s already getting it then that’s that. The only one’s who can get the old Income support are those that have already got it. The new ESA does not work the same way the old Income Support does as it’s aim is to help get people into work while not forcing them to. Not sure why she would need to get sick notes for it though. That doesn’t sound right to me. Daft as it sounds. I don’t think there is much that can be done apart from going to see CAB or CLAC as they call it now.
