Yes, the Direct Debit account holder whether that is a student or their parent or guardian can cancel their Direct Debit instructions through their bank. However, they must notify the Registration and Fees Team in the Student Services Centre (Telephone: ++44(0)161 275 5000 Option 4) with details of any changes at least 10 working days prior to the instalment date, because a charge will be levied for returned Direct Debits.
