Can a student add a course or drop or withdraw from a course during the term?

Yes. If a course is dropped, a Withdrawal Form must be filed. A drop occurring during the first two weeks after the official start date is not reflected on the transcript. If a course in not officially dropped, a “U” is entered on the transcript. Failure to submit a completed Withdrawal Form within the specified time frame, or failure to complete the course in the agreed time frame, will result in a failing grade entered on the academic record (transcript). For refund information see Question #30.
