Can a staph infection left untreated for 2 months cause a rare disease of the immune system?
I am not sure about what a staph infection can and cannot cause. I do know that it can make you very, very sick and can even cause death. I would suggest that you go to a website called WebMD and start there as it has a wealth of knowledge and referral information. Please be sure and do everything that your medical team advises you to do. This is a very serious thing. I spent several weeks in the hospital and was on death’s doorstep. I also have chronic fatigue syndrome which lowers your immune system after many years and it took me months to recover from this. I do wish you good luck and God Speed.
