Can a soldier receive TA for certification programs like the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer program?
First, TA must be approved prior to enrolling in any courses. Second, TA is authorized for courses offered by post-secondary institutions accredited by a national or regional accrediting body recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Since Microsoft is not an accredited post-secondary institution, TA is not authorized at this time. Visiting the Education Center and verifying an institution’s accreditation status before signing up for classes can prevent students from incurring unanticipated financial hardship.
