Can a smoker still get good lung compacity while running every day?
Well im a smoker and have smoked since I was 11. I can still run without getting wheezy, and I can hold my breath for 2 minuets without any pressure. I smoke 20-40 a day and have done for the last 4 years and my peak flow rate is higher than a average non-smoker of my height and body mass. My advice is quit 100% if you want your full lung capacity back to how it used to be. I know I can handle smoking at the moment and stay active without any pressure, but I am still at the end of the day inhaling sticky black cancerous tar and chemicals and 1 day it will almost defiantly catch up with me and might kill me. I know its sounds hypocritical for a heavy smoker to recommend quitting cigarettes to a light smoker but we both know its poison and a waste of money. If you want to put yourself off smoking, carry a clean piece of toilet tissue and every cigarette you have exhale into the tissue and keep the same tissue for a week and by day 5 it will be so dence with black and brown tar you wont b
