There’s an incentive law to bring foreigners into Panama to live out there last days, and there is another one for industrialists/commercial business people who wish to install an employment producing enterprise. The minimum investment you neet for this last type of investment is around US50,000.- From either two, permanent residence is easy. Opening a bank account has gotten a bit more difficult in the last few years. I suggest you bring a letter of reference from your present bank. With that and your passport in order, you should be able to open a saving or personal checking account. Your business, if you choose that route, can open its own bank account and have you sign for it. If you do not have other real partners (other than those that appear in the Charter of Incorporation for formal purposes), you can mix you business money and your personal money, as long as you register them separately in your accou
