Can a service provider, or an employee of a service provider, be a key person?

APRA would expect that only a person within the trustee structure, the trustee’s responsible officers or employees of related parties would be key persons. It is APRA’s view that if a trustee relies to such an extent on a party outside the above structures, such as a service provider, it is an indicator that the trustee cannot meet the fit and proper standard.
