Can a server or SILC operator gain operator mode on a channel?
They cannot get operator status, founder status, join invite only channels, escape active bans, escape user limits or anything alike, without explicitly being allowed. The only way to get channel operator status is that someone ops you. Server and SILC operators in the network are normal users with the extra privileges of being able to adminstrate their server. They cannot do anything more than a normal user.
