Can a series 4030 pump manufactured before Armstrong standardized on OSHA coupling guards be fitted with a present day OSHA guard?

Not directly as changes were made to the Bearing Cap design in order to accommodate the Armstrong OSHA Guard. However, by replacing the bearing housing or bearing cap with the new design an OSHA guard can then be fitted.
