Can a Sellers shipping and other expenses be deducted from a Deposit credited to a Buyer?
No offsets of any kind will be made to a Deposit credited to a Buyer’s account. The object of a Transaction is satisfactory delivery. If a Buyer is obligated to incur the expense and inconvenience of returning an unsatisfactory delivery, the Seller should bear the initial shipping and handling charges, and any restocking expenses.
