Can a School Resource Officer interview my son/daughter at school without notifying the parent or guardian in advance?
Yes. Florida Law does not require a School Resource Deputy or Police Officers to notify you in advance. It only requires the deputy or police officer to notify you as soon as possible when the student is arrested. Back to top • My roommate kicked me out of the house and changed the locks. I want a deputy to go with me to get my personal property. We do not send deputies to stand by while property is picked up without a court order from a judge.
