Can a rural/volunteer fire department apply for assistance with more than one Department of the Interior agency?
Rural/volunteer fire departments are discouraged from applying for RFA with more than one agency. DOIs goal is to assist as many eligible rural/volunteer fire departments as possible. DOI agencies are required to coordinate with other federal and state agencies on the allocation of funds to rural/volunteer fire departments.
