Please refer to the USA Cycling Rulebook. Upgrade points depend on the race distance and field size as specified in the Rulebook. The PSS race distances exceed the minimum race distances. IF the minimum field size races, THEN riders may include upgrade points (i.e. same as PSS series points) in their race resume category upgrade applications. Criterium Minimum Field Sizes for Upgrade Points: from 5 to 4 … 10 riders (PSS minimum is 20 riders, as determined by race organizer) from 4 to 3, men … 30 riders, from 4 to 3, women … 10 riders, from 4 to 3, junior … 10 riders, from 3 to 2, men … 50 riders, from 3 to 2, women … 20 riders from 2 to 1, men … 60 riders, from 2 to 1, women …
