Can a RF Modulator be used in reverse?

Sorry, they don’t work in reverse. That like asking if an oven and uncook something. The opposite of a modulator is a demodulator – commonly known as something with a tuner. An old VCR could be used as a tuner to recover the video and audio. EDIT: OK, so I over simplified. Based on the nature of the question, I didn’t think going into a great deal of detail would be a help to this person. Over simplified answers are easier to understand for the untrained! The guy didn’t want to build one, he wanted to make something work. The block level answer was a good fit. Pete, why don’t you try to help people instead of attacking those that are helping? . . .
