Can a resident have a car on campus?
Resident freshmen students may not have a car on campus. Upperclass students and freshmen commuter students may have a car on campus. Students may purchase parking permits from the Office of Security and Safety located at 340 Western Avenue. A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space on campus. Since we are located in the city of Albany, parking can be scarce. If you need to park on the street, be sure that you are aware of any parking restrictions by noting the signs on the sides of the streets.
