Can a regular Optometrist prescribed Glaucoma Medications??

As best as I can determine, an optometrist who gets further training as a Optometric Glaucoma specialist can indeed treat glaucoma and write prescriptions specifically for that treatment. Now, some states may actually include that training in regular optometrist training today, as they appear to do in my state. There honestly are not enough ophthalmologists to handle the numbers of folks with glaucoma, so it makes sense to encourage this additional training. Just ask your optometrist.
