Can a registered offender be removed from the registry?
There are only 2 ways to be removed from the registry. I) When those who have a duty to register for 25 years have completed that term of years, and 2) for a very narrow set of registrants that were adjudicated as juveniles, and young adults assigned under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYT A) the ability to petition for removal is possible if a long list of criteria are met.
