Quantum is a heat pump system and obtains its energy from the atmosphere. To operate at peak performance some day time running is best. Full Off Peak connection (where the heater can only run at night) is therefore not recommended. Quantum does work on tariffs such as Off Peak 2 (extended hours) provided at least 18 hours of power is available per day.
