This call for proposals strongly encourages the establishment of collaborative partnerships between experts (academics, researchers and/or consultants) and regional economic development stakeholders (associations or other organizations active in economic development). The Regional Development Study program favours such collaboration to promote synergy and maximize knowledge development; projects that promote alliance-building among experts and development stakeholders shall therefore be given favourable consideration.
