Can a premises licensed to provide gambling activities, just provide gaming machines?
The requirement for the primary gambling activity, authorised by an operating licence, to be offered in all associated licensed premises where gaming machines are made available are set out in the Licence conditions and codes of practice supplement 4: primary gambling activity – January 2009. We recommend that authorities contact their local compliance manager and that they may also want to contact the applicant to discuss how they intend to ensure the primary gambling activity is made available.
