Can a pregnancy test come back negative if you did not pee on it long enough?

Some of them only take a few drops. Now its the state law here to have a preg test before an MRI and Iiterally peed about 4 drops on it and I was fine. It depends on the brand I was always careful and put it in a cup when looking for an actual pregnancy.

If there was a negative result, then there was enough pee to get a result. Time of day matters in early pregnancy. The first urine of the day is more concentrated with hcg. Try again in a week..the earliest that I have gotten a result from a home test is 5 weeks.

No, I dont think so! Once the pregnancy strip is wet by your fluid(urine) then it would work properly. Urine is urine, it dont matter how much fluid is on the strip.

Try not to guzzle down alot of liquid because that will dilute your urine and cause it to not have enough hormone in it to detect pregnancy especially if your testing early. That is why first morning urine is the most accurate because its been held for over 4 hours and its not diluted.

read the directions carefully. some are different. if you pee too long, it might ruin the results and if you dont pee enough you might not collect enough urine for the test to work properly. best bet is to do EXACTLY what the instructions say. or better yet, buy a pack that has two tests.
