Scanners are most effective when a photo is able to be as flat as possible on the scanner. In most cases, taking a photograph out of an antique frame is quite easy and usually just requires the paper backing to be replaced on the frame (which we will do for free). However, if the photo is unable to be removed for scanning, we will take a picture of the photo and frame using a digital camera. If you prefer, send the photo in its frame and we will take it out of the frame for you.
