Can a Pervasive SQL7 clients attach to Pervasive 2000 server?

Yes, but it’s not offically a ‘supported configuration’ becuase we support later requesters to earlier servers, but not all earlier requesters to later servers (can’t support everything). It should work just fine as long as the app is 100% transactional or Btrieve, but testing is higly advised and updating the clients to a supported configuration is a really good idea. The ODBC client in P.SQL 7 is completely different than the ODBC in P2K so that wouldn’t work, but it will access the data almost exactly the same so for example Access could get to the DEMODATA through either ODBC driver just fine.
