Can a person survive just eating fruit and vegetables?
Yes, you would be a vegan. Vegetarians generally will eat cheese and eggs. Vegans are prone to nutritionally deficiencies; however if you educate yourself and eat a broad range of foods you generally will be just fine. Protein/amino acid deficiencies are the most common problem, as vegetable proteins tend to have less complete mix of amino acids than animal proteins. Nuts and legumes are good source of vegetable proteins.
