Computers are the medium. They won’t turn you into a da Vinci. Yes, you need to be good at drawing. It’s just another tool for those who are already good to utilize, like pencils and paint. You can’t give someone a graphics tablet with no artistic ability and expect them to come up with something good. That area if very competitive, as are most art jobs. You need to be very good. There’s no point in having a creative mind if you can’t put it down onto paper. Employers want to see people who are both creative and have artistic talent. I’ve read before they usually have some person draw up the basic drawing, and the other person goes in and edits it to make it more 3d. If he or she isn’t the one who makes it from scratch and just edits it to make it animated, it’s possible maybe, but I would assume they’d like some talent. Here is the solution. Practice drawing.
