No. Once an employee begins the testing process, he/she may not leave. If the employee is unable to give a specimen, he/she will be required to remain at the collection site for three hours and will be asked to consume up to 40 ounces of fluids. If after three hours the employee is still unable to provide a specimen, he/she will be required to see a physician to determine whether or not a physical condition exists that prevents the donor from giving a specimen.
