Can a person learn to sing harmony?
Usually, yes. My warm-up exercises include a lovely vocalise that, once you learn it and can sing it comfortably, I sing in harmony with you. I sing a line of harmony above you until I reach the limits of my upper range, then I sing a differing harmony below you until you reach your upper limit. Learning to sing harmony is most often a matter of simply doing it. If singing harmony is something you list among your goals as my student, then we will study duets, and I will sing the other part (as I can), or you can bring your duet partner with you to your lessons, and I can coach both of you.
