Can a person be possessed by the devil?
No, but people who believe that they could get possessed by a devil or a geny could possibly get a mentaly state that they are possessed for real… its no more than an illusion…. in a long time ago before the science of psychology were discovered, people used to justify strange behaviors and any kind of mental illness as a work of the devil… !!
Yes, there are MANY accounts in the bible of men and women being posessed by demons and Satan. It’s nothing to fool around with so never try to take a demon out of a possesed person unless you are a Christian and you have the power of God with you to do it. There is one account in the bible of a possesed man and a group of men who clammed to be able to take demons out but were just a bunch of fakes came into the house where the man was and the demon spoke and said “I know who Paul is and I know who the Lord Jesus is but who are you?” because the demon knew these men could not get rip of him and it knew they were fakes abnd it says that the demon beat them up and it says the men left the house naked and bleeding. So NEVER fool around with it, it’s nothing to toy with in fact it’s very serious.

Well I think saying “devil” is a very narrow perspective for most people of the past and today. My classifications are GHOST= a form based on a formerly alive person, what a ghost exactly is im not 100% sure. ENTITY = something which does not take the form or shape of a human and seems to have no relation to a former living human. NON natural entity = a entity or spirit or something which is not your common native to the world the ghosts exist in, they seem to always come from another area of existance, i or others seem inable to see or isolate, perhaps hell? who knows, but most are evil in intent and very few are sincere in intent and all are human level of inteligence, making them stand out no matter what form or look they maintain. To my experience your general ghost will not atempt a posession, i have no studied any cases with people were the dead wish to comunicate with the living via possesion, so that is something i have yet to explore.
