Because the individual is aware in a state of hypnosis, and because they still exercise their powers of judgement, no one can be made to reveal any information while in a state of hypnosis unless they want to. Hypnosis is not a “truth serum”. If the opposite were true, then police agencies all over the world would be using hypnosis to make criminals confess to their crimes.
