The pension account cannot be allowed to be operated by a holder of Power of Attorney except in case of account of former President of India or of the spouse of the deceased president. However, the facility of allowing cheque books and acceptance of standing instructions for transfer of funds from the account is admissible as per instructions of R.B.I.
