Can a pen be mightier than a sword?
I was really thinking about this matter and I found out that the answer is yes. The more you think about what a pen can do to corrupt individuals, the more you feel what this little pen can do. Corrupt individuals fear the pen given that it exposes their wrongdoings and can possibly get them persecuted. Arresting a journalist is not common phenomenon, but it happens because corrupt people do not want journalists and human rights activists to express their ideas and write about civil rights. This act is what makes corrupt people want to lock them up, they send them to jail in order to shut them up. This is why the arrest of journalists is not common because not all writers are trying to expose wrongdoings of people, some journalists are just seeking fame and money. Can a pen be mightier than a sword? This is my topic for today. I don’t know who came up with this saying but he probably didn’t have to live anywhere in the Arab world because if he did, he would say that a sword is tougher
