Can a Pelikan piston fill fountain pen be taken on an aeroplane safely without risk of it leaking?
All of the Pelikan Souveran and Tradition fountain pens can safely be taken on a plane with reduced cabin pressure without risk of leaking as long as they are full or empty. If the ink chamber is not full or empty the remaining air in the chamber that expand at altitude and force some of the ink to seep through the nib feed into the cap.
