Can a pass in LE Papers 1, 7 and 8 guarantee the candidates a job offer in the industry?
The LE has been approved by the SFC as the recognized industry qualifications and local regulatory framework papers in relation to the application for licences as Representatives and/or Responsible Officers for all RAs except for Type 3 RA V Leveraged Foreign Exchange Trading under the “Guidelines on Competence”. Although a pass in these papers has no guarantee for a job offer, firms in the securities and futures industry seeking to employ personnel to engage in these RAs will appreciate the “readiness” of a candidate to be licensed as a Representative for these RAs.
