Can a Pap Smear Detect Pregnancy?
A Pap smear cannot detect pregnancy. There are different tests to detect pregnancy and these include urine tests, blood test and an imaging study like ultrasound. There are many pregnancy test kits available in market which you can buy without doctor’s prescription and can test pregnancy yourself at home. The main disadvantage of these is that some kits may give false positive or false negative results.
