Can a notary republic perform a marriage in Indiana?
Answer Dear Jill, This is the information I was able to find. I will see if I can find a specific answer for you. (Be back soon.) I’m back. From what I can find unless the person is a county clerk or judge, they cannot perform a wedding. I would, however, encourage you to contact the county clerk’s office where you plan to get married and ask just to be sure. I hope this helps.
