CAN A Nextel BlackBerry 7100i WORK WITH BOOST MOBILE PREPAID SIM CARD?
Yes it can provided the sim is already active. Nextel/Boost want allow you to activate a Boost sim if the phone it is in is originally a Blackberry nextel. Activate it on a regular Boost phone or give another phone’s imei number (underneath the battery) when activating it. It must be a Boost or Nextel NON Blackberry or the activation won’t work. Once you get past that, the sim should give you at least talk maybe walkie talkie. Some people get web. Depends on the configurations of the previous owner. Text is an issue a lot of times because there is no Blackberry service on Boost mobile. There are 3rd party apps that help workaround it like Opera mini for web.
