Can a navel piercing close up within 30 minutes?

How long have you had your navel ring? If you’ve had it for awhile [more then a year] it shouldn’t close up within 30 minutes. If you’ve had it for less then a year, there’s a possibility that it will. I know that once you’ve had your navel ring for quite a long period of time, you can take it out whenever you like and put it in [in a reasonable about of time]. I know a woman in her 30’s whose had her bellybutton pierced since she was 15. She takes it out for days at a time sometimes. I’m not sure if they get like ear piercings, but they definitley stay there for awhile without closing up. You’ll be able to get it repierced after your baby is born, don’t worry. As long as the scar tissue isn’t really thick, it probably won’t hurt a lot either.
