A mobile battery _could_ be charged that way… As for how much power can be generated, it would depend on how much power is being put in, and what materials you are using… As for cost, are you asking because you are looking to buy some commercial product that can recharge your ipod from kinetic energy? Or something along those lines? Or are you really looking for prices on materials you could use to try and develop a functional piezoelectric generator? I think you should read more about what it is you’re asking about, try wikipedia. I apologize if I am mistaken, but it sounds like you read an article maybe about DARPA’s Energy Harvesting research, thought it sounded great and wanted a consumer ready product based on that technology. If that’s the case, there isn’t one. Not to the best of my knowledge at least.
