Yes. According to the Department of Revenue Services, the Department of Labor and the Connecticut State Library, there are no regulations preventing a minor from owning a business in Connecticut. The business can be owned under the name of the minor, however, legal documents such as contracts and registration forms would have to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
